Balloon Flatbread
This easy balloon flatbread cooks in a hot pan and puffs up to create a soft, airy pocket inside. Made with simple ingredients and no oven, it's perfect for sandwiches, wraps, dips, or serving warm with a meal.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Combine the Wet Ingredients
- Add the flour and salt and knead until a soft, smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces and shape each piece into a smooth ball.
- Cover the dough balls and let them rest for 20 minutes.
- Roll each dough ball into a round flatbread. Keep the dough at a medium thickness — rolling it too thin can prevent it from puffing properly.
- Heat a pan well, then place one flatbread in the dry pan. Turn it frequently as bubbles begin to form and lightly press where needed to encourage even puffing.
- Continue turning the bread until it inflates like a balloon and develops light golden spots on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and serve warm. Repeat with the remaining dough.
