- Cut the peach in half and remove the pit.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar to the melted butter and stir until combined.
- Place the peach halves in the skillet with the cut sides against the caramel mixture.
- Cover the skillet and cook until the peaches soften and the cut sides become beautifully caramelized.
- Transfer the warm caramelized peaches to a serving plate and top each half with vanilla ice cream. Serve immediately.
