No-Oven Chocolate Banana Cake (Easy Pan Cake Recipe)
This easy no-oven chocolate banana cake is cooked entirely in a pan with ripe bananas, cocoa, and chocolate, then finished with a warm homemade chocolate sauce.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Add the ripe bananas to a large mixing bowl and mash them thoroughly until mostly smooth.
- Add the eggs, chocolate spread, milk, and vegetable oil to the mashed bananas. Mix until the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla. Mix just until a smooth chocolate batter forms and no dry flour remains.
- Lightly grease a suitable non-stick pan if needed, then pour in the batter and spread it into an even layer.
- Cover the pan with a lid and cook over very low heat for about 30–35 minutes. Keep the lid closed as much as possible so the trapped heat helps the cake cook through evenly.
- Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean or with only a few moist crumbs, remove the pan from the heat and let the cake rest for 5–10 minutes.
- Heat 1 cup of milk in a small saucepan. Add the dark chocolate and cocoa powder, then stir gently until the chocolate has melted and the sauce becomes smooth and glossy.
- Pour the warm chocolate sauce evenly over the cake, allowing it to spread across the surface.
- Scatter chocolate chips and crushed pistachios over the top while the sauce is still warm.
- Slice the cake once it has rested slightly. Serve as it is or add a scoop of ice cream and extra pistachios for a more indulgent dessert.
