Kunafa
(Turkish Künefe Dessert Recipe)
Kunafa, also known as künefe, is a famous Turkish and Middle Eastern dessert made with crispy shredded pastry (kadayif), melted cheese, and sweet syrup.
It’s baked until golden and crispy, then soaked in syrup and topped with pistachios. The contrast between the crunchy outside and gooey cheese inside makes it incredibly satisfying.
