Lazy Turkish Dumplings (No-Dough Easy Manti Recipe)
These easy lazy Turkish dumplings deliver the comforting flavors of traditional manti without making dough. Small beef meatballs are coated in thin layers of flour, boiled until tender, then served with creamy yogurt and warm chili butter.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Add the ground beef, grated onion, salt, and black pepper to a bowl. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into very small meatballs. Keeping them small helps them cook evenly and gives the finished dish a more dumpling-like texture.
- Place the meatballs in the freezer for about 15–20 minutes. They should firm up slightly without freezing completely.
- Place flour in one bowl and water in another. Roll each chilled meatball in flour until lightly coated.
- Dip each floured meatball briefly into water, then return it to the flour. Repeat the flour-and-water coating process 4–5 times to build a thin layer around each meatball.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the coated meatballs and cook for about 8–10 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the outer coating is tender.
- Melt the butter in a small pan. Add the red pepper flakes and cook briefly until fragrant, taking care not to burn the butter or spices.
- Drain the cooked dumplings well and transfer them to a serving plate. Spoon yogurt generously over the warm dumplings.
- Drizzle the warm chili butter over the yogurt and dumplings. Serve immediately while the dumplings are still warm.
