Ingredients
Instructions
- Melt the butter, then set it aside briefly to cool slightly before adding it to the other ingredients.
- Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, baking powder, and 1 1/2 cups of the flour. Mix until the ingredients come together.
- Add more flour gradually as needed. You can use up to about 2 cups in total, but keep the cookie dough soft rather than making it too firm.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix them through the cookie dough.
- Divide the dough into portions and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 170°C (338°F) oven for about 10–12 minutes.
- Serve the chocolate chip cookies while still warm with 3–4 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
