Creamy Chicken with Vegetables
This creamy chicken with vegetables combines tender chicken breasts, sautéed red onion, pepper, and zucchini in a rich milk-based sauce finished with melted cheese for an easy and comforting one-pan dinner.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until lightly golden on the outside and completely cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
- Add the chopped red onion and red pepper to the same pan. Sauté until they begin to soften, stirring occasionally.
- Add the chopped zucchini and continue cooking until the vegetables are tender but still hold their shape.
- Add the flour and stir it through the vegetables. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring continuously so the flour blends smoothly into the sauce without forming lumps.
- Add the salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, and pepper paste. Stir well and allow the sauce to simmer gently until it begins to thicken.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan and spoon the creamy vegetable sauce over it. Let everything cook together briefly so the chicken absorbs some of the flavor from the sauce.
- Sprinkle the grated kasar or cheddar cheese into the pan and stir it into the sauce until completely melted and creamy.
- Remove the pan from the heat once the sauce is creamy and the chicken is hot throughout. Serve immediately while the cheese sauce is still warm and smooth.
