Chocolate Stuffed Pancakes
These chocolate stuffed pancakes are soft and fluffy on the outside with a warm, melted dark chocolate center. Made with a simple homemade pancake batter, they're an easy breakfast or brunch recipe that feels like a special treat.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Whisk the Egg and Sugar
- Pour in the milk and whisk again until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar or vanilla extract. Mix until you have a smooth pancake batter with no large pockets of dry flour remaining.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour a small amount of batter into the center and let it spread into a round pancake. Allow the bottom to begin setting while the surface is still slightly wet.
- Place a piece of dark chocolate in the center of the pancake before the top has completely set.
- Spoon a little more pancake batter over the chocolate, making sure it is covered so the melted filling stays inside as the pancake cooks.
- When bubbles appear on the surface and the edges look set, carefully flip the pancake. Cook the second side over medium heat until golden and cooked through.
- Transfer the pancake to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter and chocolate. Serve the pancakes warm so the chocolate center is still soft and melted.
