Ingredients

  • 1 onion

  • 1 red pepper (kapya)

  • 1 zucchini

  • 1 large carrot

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Kasar or cheddar cheese

For the sauce:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1.5 cups milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 tea glass vegetable oil

  • 50 g melted butter

👩‍🍳 How to Make Savory Kadayif Pie

  1. Sauté onion, pepper, zucchini, and carrot until softened.

  2. Add cheese and mix. Set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, prepare the sauce by mixing eggs, milk, salt, oil, and melted butter.

  4. Grease a baking dish and place half of the separated kadayif evenly.

  5. Pour some of the sauce over it.

  6. Add the vegetable filling.

  7. Cover with remaining kadayif and pour the rest of the sauce.

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes until golden and crispy.

Serve warm.
